Dr. Robin B. Dilley clinical psychologist, author, and workshop facilitator, will be sharing her healing journey with breast cancer and the labyrinth.  In 1999, Robin was diagnosed with stage II estrogen positive breast cancer.  As a psychologist she had helped clients use guided imagery as part of their adjunctive health care as patients learned to overcome their fear of the “c” word.  When she was diagnosed she knew immediately she would use imagery as part of her healing.  In praying for an image that she could trust and believe in, one early twilight hour, a beautiful majestic Bengal tiger appeared in her doorway. She knew that would be the image she would use to eat her mutant cells. 

What Robin didn't expect was how vulnerable and frightened she felt after her treatment was finished.  Culminating at the same time as her treatment finished, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral was dedicating their beautiful 11 circuit Chartres style labyrinth. The night she went to the labyrinth dedication, it became clear that the labyrinth was calling to her heart. That night she made a commitment to walk the labyrinth once a week for one year to continue her healing journey. During that year she and the labyrinth developed a “whole-heart” relationship and her passion has created workshops incorporating tools and techniques to help clients face their fears and walk into his/her healing journey.
