The Sacred Space of Labyrinths: Enhancing Walks with Field Awareness, IN PERSON workshop with Mary Ann Wamhoff

Join Veriditas Faculty member Mary Ann Wamhoff to explore why we can quiet our own Personal Field more easily in an archetypal labyrinth. We will work with our Social Field to amplify a shared intention and see how the labyrinth symbolizes Relational Fields. Then we will connect with the Caring Field, the Noosphere, to enable distance healing. There will be an art project to help synthesize our learning.

After the workshop, Lars Howlett will offer a two-hour 'create your own handheld labyrinth' collage activity from 3:30-5:30pm. Materials will be provided and the cost is $50. Sign up directly with Lars: [email protected]

A vegetarian chili is included at 6pm for those wishing to stay for a free, public Cosmic Spiral Walk will be offered from 7-8:00pm.

Lars Howlett will be assisting Mary Ann and presenting a second workshop on Sacred Time the following day. Make a retreat of it and register for the two-day program arriving on Friday and departing Sunday, or commute from hotel or home in the Charlottesville, Virginia area.

This also serves as a Qualifying Workshop for a future Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator Training online or in-person, including one three months later at Mountain Light Retreat on December 5-6th, 2026.

Mary Ann Wamhoff

After training with Lauren Artress in Chartres, Mary Ann became a Veriditas Advanced Accredited Labyrinth Facilitator. She has walked labyrinths since at least 1995, has studied with Caroline Myss, Andrew Harvey, Mirabai Starr, and Matt Fox among others, and is a Reiki Master. She regularly facilitated public walks sponsored by the Labyrinth Resource Group of Santa Fe, and spearheaded and helped build a 48-foot Chartres-style labyrinth. She is presently introducing her new Virginian community to the joys of labyrinth walking! As a Veriditas Council member, she supports facilitators in listening to what people need and is excited about being part of the Veriditas Inclusion Initiative. Coming from a tradition that believes in the unseen, she has both felt and seen the labyrinth's amazing power!
