As labyrinths are intrinsically connected to people and place, you may want to deepen this connection to native people(s), culture, and political and natural history of the land. A land acknowledgment needs to be carefully considered, crafted and unique to your location and community.

Join us for a free webinar presented by the Veriditas Inclusion Initiative on Wednesday, May 10th at 9am Pacific to learn about crafting a land acknowledgment. Hear examples from facilitators for in-person and online events, share your questions, and consider ways to connect with indigenous communities. One small step is to join us in donating to the Native Governance Center at https://support.nativegov.org/give/387472

“A land acknowledgment is not something you “just do” before an event. Rather it is a reflective process in which you build mindfulness and intention before walking into whatever gathering you are having.” ~ CICSC / CSUSM Toolkit

Veriditas is dedicated to inspiring personal and planetary change and renewal through the labyrinth experience.

We accomplish our mission by training and supporting labyrinth facilitators around the world, and offering meaningful events that promote further understanding of the labyrinth as a tool for personal and community transformation. Our Vision is that the labyrinth experience guides us in developing the higher level of human awareness we need to thrive in the 21st century.
