Intrigued by Lauren Artress' new book
The Path of the Holy Fool?  Join us for a week long virtual pilgrimage based on the pilgrimage model we use in Chartres.

The Legend of the Search for the Holy Grail is an “eternal fairytale” states Jungian Maria von Franz because the teachings from it are everlasting. Interestingly, these oral stories were collected and written down during the same era as when labyrinths were being inlaid in the floors of Gothic Cathedrals throughout Europe.

We will follow Parsifal’s journey from isolated self-absorption to becoming a conscious human being by exploring the overarching metaphors the Legend offers: spiritual openings and initiations, the journey, the wasteland, wounding, the Grail, the Grail Castle, and the Holy Fool. The archetype of the Holy Fool—one who has the self-awareness, imagination, and the courage to trust what emerges along the path—serves as a template for all who yearn to step forward to nurture a life-enhancing vision for our planet. The labyrinth can serve as our Grail; it offers an unwavering path as we learn to take risks, create new modalities and find a way to contribute to our evolving world.

Join us for this online pilgrimage where through journaling through writing prompts, break out groups, discussion, and images these concepts will be explored in the matrix of our lives. We will meet each morning Monday - Friday from 9-12:30, opening with a meditation with Judith Tripp, followed by two hour seminar with Lauren Artress on the material covered in The Path of the Holy Fool and an hour long process group .

In the afternoons, Monday through Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, there will be SoulCollage® sessions led by SoulCollage® Facilitator, Connie Beall. And on Wednesday early evening, we will “virtually visit” Chartres Cathedral and the Chartres Labyrinth followed by a Finger Labyrinth Walk together

SoulCollage®

SoulCollage® is a creative, experiential process using images, imagination and intuition to craft 5x8 inch collaged cards. Developed by psychotherapist Seena Frost, the process is taught and shared with groups and individuals by trained facilitators all over the world. The SoulCollage® process and the Labyrinth are both potent tools of transformation that work beautifully together to further both personal and spiritual growth. In our afternoons together, we’ll be using themes from the morning’s session with Lauren as our jumping off point for card making. There will be time for making cards, dialoging with our cards, and sharing. Please click here to read more.

Cost:  $900 for the week (includes the book, The Path of the Holy Fool, and a package of other labyrinth goodies) early bird until May 15 and $1000 after that. Space is limited.
