The Labyrinth as an Interspiritual Path:

One River Many Streams

We are living in an unfolding spiritual landscape.  East and West are converging, our world is shrinking. Some of us are no longer at home in the spiritual/religious traditions in which we grew up.  We find that our spiritual streams have run dry.  We yearn for more, but what might that 'more' be?  In this workshop, we will do some thoughtful and respectful meandering along the labyrinth's interspiritual path together, drinking in some of the contemplative practices, stories and rituals from other spiritual traditions around the globe.  We will have conversations on our way to the center where all streams merge into One River, the Living Source of all our relations.  Finally, we will return, walking the same path, nourished by our journey.  Wherever you are on your path, even if you find yourself sitting on the River's bank, unsure and observing, you are welcome.

A one day workshop led by Veriditas Faculty Kathe Rhinesmith and Anne Bonney.

Kathe Rhinesmith, Faculty

Kathe is a former association executive, teacher, trainer and conference presenter. Her interest in the labyrinth was inspired by a visit to Grace Cathedral in 2006. In 2011 she took the Facilitator Training in Chartres with Lauren Artress, and in 2016 at Chartres, will become a Veriditas Certified Advanced Facilitator. She chairs the Labyrinth Ministry Committee at Naples United Church of Christ in Naples, Florida where she is also a church Trustee. In addition to facilitating workshops and walks on the labyrinth, Kathe’s joy has been in facilitating the building of three Chartres style labyrinths, in Chatham, MA, Naples, FL, and on the campus of her alma mater, Ohio Wesleyan University. This labyrinth, dedicated in 2015, is the third Veriditas Legacy Labyrinth, built in collaboration with labyrinth designer Robert Ferre and master builder Marty Kermeen.
