Join Veriditas founder Reverend Dr. Lauren Artress to learn more about Sacred Geometry as a path to divine connection on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4pm - 5pm PDT*.  Lauren’s guest will be Nancy Castille, artist, scholar, and geometer.

Nancy Castille will discuss Sacred Geometry, sharing her personal journey and discovery of geometry as both a spiritual and artistic practice. She combines historical and philosophical studies of the work of Plato with a hands-on art practice to uncover beauty and abstract truths.

In this webinar you will learn more about the concept of Sacred Geometry and how it can deepen your labyrinth practice.  Whether you are new to the labyrinth or a facilitator looking for a theme for your next event, you will be inspired by the concepts in this month’s webinar.

*For those unable to join the webinar live, it will be recorded, edited and shared with all registered participants to watch or review at their own time and pace approximately one week following the event.

Note: VIA members be sure to join us for the additional question/answer period that follows the program. Look for the join link in your inbox on the day of the webinar.

About the guest:
Nancy Castille studied comparative religion as an undergraduate at Oberlin College and did several years of graduate study at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. After earning an MBA from UC Berkeley, she pursued a 25-year career in banking as a Senior Finance Manager.  Retiring in 2012, she plunged into studying Dante, Mythology, Ancient History, and Philosophy, among other things.  Eventually, she encountered the field of Sacred Geometry and from that point forward, became fascinated and absorbed in the subject, both from a philosophical and artistic perspective.  Nancy travelled to Chartres several times to study the patterns and practices of their great Cathedral wisdom school.  Nancy weaves together talents as a musician, artist, poet, storyteller and scholar. She is a lifelong violin player and is currently concertmaster with Rossmoor String Orchestra in Walnut Creek.
