About Kathy Swaar

Kathy Swaar’s personal experiences with grief, loss, and the healing power of the labyrinth led to her book, Fine Lines: Walking the Labyrinth of Grief and Loss, a journey that she now shares with others.

Currently a full time writer, she served the Presbyterian Church (USA) as a Commissioned Lay Pastor for twenty-five years. After receiving her MA from the University of Illinois Springfield, she taught communications and helping skills courses for UIS for ten years. As president and CEO of her family’s farm corporation, Kathy currently oversees the management of their central Illinois grain farm. She resides in central Florida.
