Expand your labyrinth toolkit for making labyrinths that benefit any event or space. Learn how to create Classical and Chartres variations quickly and easily using simple materials. Craft a tabletop labyrinth for a home altar or art installation using small objects and make two walkable labyrinths over the course of one weekend! Apply the techniques you learn to design labyrinths for your own workshops, presentations, festivals and community events.

Through inspiring slideshows Lars Howlett (Discover Labyrinths) will share his experience engaging a wide variety of labyrinth audiences, materials and settings to illustrate how small and simple labyrinths can have a big impact. We’ll explore how patterns resonate differently and which are better suited for small spaces, diverse communities, and varying age-ranges and abilities.

This three-day weekend workshop will be held online via Zoom video webinar. Between sessions there will be time to work at your own pace in creating one tabletop labyrinth and two temporary walkable labyrinths in or around your home. Participants will have an opportunity to share and discuss their new labyrinths. A workbook will be provided detailing the methods and recordings of the webinar will be made available for reference. Registration is limited to ensure an intimate group and opportunity to ask questions and connect with one another.
