Veriditas Approved Qualifying Workshop/Retreat

Using the process of SoulCollage® and the labyrinth, this five-day retreat will give you the time and space to listen deeply to your Soul to discover who it is you came here to be - what in SoulCollage® is known as your “SoulEssence”.  The labyrinth, a three-dimensional archetype and metaphor for the journey of life, can take us to the center of our Self and give us a deeper understanding of who we are and what we came here to do.

Both the labyrinth and SoulCollage® are gentle guides for times when you are on the threshold of transition or feel like you are standing on shifting sands. This time of unknowing and uncertainty can also be a time of rich possibility. In this retreat we will explore these growing edges of life, and listen for what our Soul wants for us.

This retreat is a pre-qualifying workshop for the Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator Training which you can take with any Labyrinth Facilitator Trainer within two years of attending this pre-qualifying workshop if you would like to expand your work with the labyrinth.

This retreat will be held at the St. Francis Springs Prayer Center in Stoneville, NC, which is about 30 miles north of Greensboro, NC. The closest airport is Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO).

The Center is situate on 140 acres of peaceful wooded land and has a beautiful 11-circuit medieval pattern labyrinth, walking trails and stream.

During our time together you will explore the Archetypes at play in your life through the SoulCollage® process. We will touch on the shadow, synchronicity and how the patterns and path of your story weaves into the Larger Story of the planet.

You will be provided with a rich supply of images to create your SoulCollage® cards and have ample opportunity to create in the peace of the retreat center (you will have 24 hour access to our creative space). The labyrinth walks will offer an opportunity to integrate and expand your connection to the images which are speaking to you. The pace of the retreat will be slow so you can dive deep, and all activities will be optional.

Activities will include:

  • SoulCollage® card making time
  • Labyrinth walks
  • Using your cards in conjunction with a labyrinth walk
  • Inspired story-writing using imagery and the imagination
  • Creating SoulCollage® portal and doorway cards
  • Using your cards for guidance on the connection between your mythic story and the gifts you have to offer and the Larger Story
  • How to use your cards and the labyrinth to support you on your journey after the Retreat

Each participant will receive:

  • A box with supplies to make your SoulCollage® cards
  • A book of quotations and journal prompts created for this retreat which guides you on a journey of finding meaning in the world
  • A 60 page book of full-color Portal, Doorway and Labyrinth images sized to use on your SoulCollage® cards
  • A pack of three different finger labyrinths
  • A pack of Catherine’s WordLight cards which you will turn into inspirations for writing
  • A labyrinth bag to hold all your goodies

You can arrive at the Retreat Center any time after 3pm to check-in to your room, and we will officially start after dinner which is served at 6pm. We will end after lunch on the last day.

The cost of $990 includes four nights accommodation in a single room with private bathroom, all meals (twelve in all) and all art supplies and instruction. If you would like to share a room with a friend the cost is $870.

You can reserve your space by paying a deposit of $150 and advising whether you require a single room or shared room using the Contact Form. The balance is payable by August 27th, 2019. You are welcome to make part-payments towards the retreat at any time you wish. Click here to register
