Labyrinths in Indiana - a one day tour led by John Ridder

Join John Ridder, seasoned local labyrinth builder and your tour guide on a tour of Labyrinths around Indiana. Tour departs New Harmony at 8 am and returns at 3:00 pm. Fee includes lunch.

2) Visit to Dale Presbyterian church in Dale IN  which has an indoor tile labyrinth. 4) Jasper Riverwalk labyrinth along the Patoka River
Built in a 2016 it is a paver 7 circuit Medieval style labyrinth  built by the Jasper Lumber Company Foundation

BIO: John E. Ridder

 
John is a founding member of The Labyrinth Society and Veriditas trained facilitator.  He attends and makes labyrinths at Nativity Episcopal Church, Indianapolis.

John hosted the 2015 TLS gathering at Waycross, and organized Midwest labyrinth gatherings in 2006, 7, 8, & 10.
 
He first walked a labyrinth in 1993, and since 1995, has made hundreds of labyrinths for a variety of clients, including the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Denver Children’s Hospital, Methodist Hospital Indianapolis, Church of the Epiphany Washington DC;  and St John’s Cathedral, Albuquerque, New Mexico. 
 
He is expert in design and construction of historical and contemporary labyrinths in many media from grass to canvas to concrete!   He is a founding member of the Labyrinth Society and founder of the Labyrinth Coalition.
 
He is a lifelong Episcopalian and holds Bachelors and MBA degrees from Indiana University.  After a career in banking and business consulting, he chose to create labyrinth art full time in 2000.
