WEBINAR: The Role of the Labyrinth in Communities: Steps Toward and With One Another with Kathryn McLean hosted by Lauren Artress

This webinar will focus on the role of the labyrinth in creating, sustaining, and transforming community.  Join us as Lauren Artress and Kathryn McLean discuss lessons learned from over 50 labyrinth facilitators in 28 states and four countries related to the labyrinth's meaningful role in their communities.

The presentation will include cultural, theological and psychological lenses through which to see the labyrinth as an important "common ground" space in a culture that is polarized, and in communities experiencing a great deal of anxiety and disconnection.

Bio:

Kathyrn McLean is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), Board Certified Chaplain, Spiritual Director, Veriditas Advanced Certified Labyrinth Facilitator, and retreat leader. She serves on the Veriditas Facilitator's Council and the Research Committee for The Labyrinth Society. She recently completed her Doctor of Ministry degree through McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, focusing on the role of the labyrinth in building beloved community. She has a particular interest in the use of the labyrinth in peacemaking and connecting communities to one another, and enjoys the gift of walking alongside congregations and communities as an encourager and guide for discerning the role of the labyrinth in their local contexts.
