Veriditas Lodging Packages at Maison St. Yves in Chartres

Veriditas blocks a number of rooms at Maison St. Yves for each of our programs. The Maison is a former seminary, currently a hotel, located next to Chartres Cathedral. Our classes are held there. Rooms are very basic and inexpensive with small en-suite (in room) bathrooms. Single or double rooms are available and have phones.
Guest Information from Maison St. Yves:
Included are sheets, blankets, and towels for each room, and a light French-style breakfast is available. (Included in Veriditas packages). Breakfast will be served daily at 8:00 am on the lower level of the Maison. Soap and washcloths are not provided in the rooms. Service maids maintain your rooms every other day. A gentle reminder: we ask that you do not eat, drink, burn candles or incense or smoke in the rooms. On the day or your departure, you would do us a great service by removing your used sheets and leaving them in a ball on the floor and folding the bedcovers. Please check to make sure you have all your belongings. Forgotten and unclaimed items left after the month are considered a donation to the Chartres Diocese. There is one computer for guests' use in the Maison.
You are under no obligation to stay at the Maison St. Yves. You may explore other lodging possibilities in Chartres. We are happy to supply you with the contact information for other local lodging. We are offering a number of lodging packages from one night to eight nights, and a single room with breakfast is about $72 US per night, and a double room plus breakfast is $55 US per person per night.
We created a six-night package for those of you coming straight from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Chartres. This gives you time to rest and recover from jet lag and explore the charming medieval village of Chartres before the program starts Monday evening. There is also a five-night package which covers Monday though Friday only, especially for those of you touring in France before the program. One night can also be added if you are attending Meeting Mary. Those of you attending Facilitator Training will want to book the eight-night package.
