Walking Together—Being Different, Being One, is the program initiated by the Labyrinth Resource Group of Santa Fe to help stimulate long-term community building on the common ground of the labyrinth.

A weekend of labyrinth activities led by The Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress will take place in Santa Fe October 13-16, 2006, and will focus on "Connecting Communities." The weekend includes Veriditas Facilitator Training Sunday and Monday, October 15-16, with a qualifying workshop on Saturday, October 14.

This special weekend in New Mexico's Sangre de Cristo Mountains is designed for labyrinth advocates who seek new ways to build community, regardless of the specific location or challenges.

Please note below the program for the weekend, including locations and costs. People planning to participate in the Veriditas Facilitator Training should register at www.veriditas.net. For more information about the qualifying workshop on Saturday or the community walk Friday evening, please visit the Walking Together web site at www.walkingtogether.net.

Walking the labyrinth we discover ourselves.
We discover each other.
We discover common ground.
Walking the path, we make room for others to walk, too—in their own time, in their own way.
Walking, walking, we soon find each other in the center,
In the heart of the labyrinth,
Where the language of our new found community is Peace.
