Would you like to reduce stress, quiet your mind, and open your heart? These are just a few of the benefits of walking a labyrinth. The labyrinth has been used as a meditation tool for centuries and its designs are part of many cultural and religious histories around the world. One of the most famous labyrinths was laid into the stone floor of Chartres Cathedral in France circa 1201.

Holy Family Episcopal Church is hosting three labyrinth events through Veriditas May 15-18. Led by Dr. Kay Mutert, Veriditas Certified Master Teacher, these events invite area residents to build community and kinship through communal and individual meditation. The weekend of May 15 offers a very exciting opportunity for the Midland Community as these are the only scheduled Veriditas labyrinth events in the Midwest for 2015.

Naples is located 36 miles southeast of Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Ft. Myers. It is serviced by Delta, US Airways, American, Southwest, United, Jet Blue and Air Tran as well as Frontier, Sun Country, Spirit and Silver Airways.
